Summer Lacy Scarf
Fall is finally coming to EastTennessee!! Although this is called a summer scarf, if knit with wool or a wool blend it would be perfect for fall into winter. The yarn in the picture is Berroco Seduce which is a worsted weight(5 sts per inch with a size 7/4,5mm needle) and is made up of rayon, linen, silk and nylon which is good for spring and summer. But now that cooler weather is on the way a wool and silk blend, such as Lang Silk Dream or Louisa Harding Grace would add warm and would knit up beautifully in this pattern. They both have the perfect drape for the open lacy stitches of the scarf and feel divine next to the skin. This is a easy and fast pattern to knit, it only looks intricate.

Materails:
Yarn: Berroco Seduce ( 47% rayon, 25% linen, 17% silk, 11% nylon) 40g/
100 yds(92m) 2 skeins. Color in the picture is 4451
Needles: sizes: 13, 10, 5 needles.
Gauge: 2.5-3 st per inch with larger needles; 5.5 st per inch with smaller needles ( in moss stitch). The gauge is not critical since this a scarf.
Finished size: 10” at widest, 4 1/2 at narrowest; 60” long.
